I love acupuncture, period.  But I especially LOVE acupuncture for FERTILITY.  Research strongly supports the use of acupuncture in boosting fertility but as they say “the proof is in the pudding”.  Day after day, I see with my very own eyes the absolute amazing benefits of acupuncture in my patients struggling with fertility.

Acupuncture undoubtedly optimizes both female and male fertility and I strongly recommend it for each and every patient!

Whether you are thinking of having a baby, actively trying to conceive naturally, have a diagnosed gynecological condition standing in your way of your fertility, have suffered from one or repeated miscarriages, or have decided to undergo IVF procedures – acupuncture increases success rates of natural fertility and IVF, giving you the best possible outcome.

Acupuncture is a gentle, yet very powerful treatment that has helped countless couples with a wide range of fertility issues.  It can be used as a primary therapy, or it can used as a supportive therapy to increase success rates of IVF procedures.

Acupuncture & Natural Fertility

There are numerous conditions, both male and female, that can interfere with a couples fertility.   Acupuncture can help with just about each and every one of these.

Acupuncture & Female Fertility

Some of the more common conditions that can be helped with acupuncture include

  • Poor follicle/endometrial quality
  • Immunological factors
  • Inflammation of pelvic organs
  • Endometriosis
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
  • Fallopian tube blockages
  • Thyroid disease

Acupuncture can directly optimize female fertility by

  • Regulating ovulation and the menstrual cycle
  • Improving the endometrial lining
  • Decreasing overall stress levels

Acupuncture and Male Fertility

Acupuncture can also directly optimize fertility in men by

  • Improving sperm count, quality and motility
  • Reducing the number of structurally abnormal sperm and increasing the number of normal sperm
  • Balancing men hormones
  • Reducing overall stress

What does the research say about acupuncture & IVF?

A number of studies have indicated that the odds of conceiving with IVF  increased to ~ 65% when combined with acupuncture treatments.  A German study in 2002 revealed that 42% of women undergoing IVF procedures and acupuncture did conceive, compared to a success rate of only 26% in those not receiving acupuncture.

Couples around the World have been using acupuncture for thousands of years to naturally boost fertility.  Modern research continues to provide promising evidence of its incredible role in fertility and strongly supports acupuncture as an effective therapy to increase the outcome of IVF procedures.  Not only is acupuncture effective, it’s also a safe and cost effective therapy for optimizing fertility in couples trying to conceive.

I offer acupuncture services as an integral part of my natural fertility program and my IVF support program to help increase your chances of conceiving.
